All new starters receive an extensive induction to our business, helping them to understand the context of their role and how it contributes to the wider business objectives.
On the first day managers take new starters on a tour around the offices to meet and greet existing employees. A more formal induction takes place after new starters have had a few weeks to settle into their role - representatives from all departments present their function and are available to answer any questions. We also take new starters on a site tour to see our portfolio in real life.
We are firm believers in on-the-job training and empower our employees to make decisions and learn from them. You will always have the support of your team and management, whilst at the same time having the opportunity to make decisions individually.
We also offer a wide range of external training course opportunities for a variety of skills that will support you further in your role.
We support internal movement and staff development by offering promotions where available and by encouraging people to move internally across the different areas of business.
We understand that it is helpful to have a coach who can guide you through certain situations and help with making the right decisions. Coaching is a key part of our overall Learning & Development programme and we constantly support our employees by partnering them with coaches.
