05.06.07 - Primesight goes interactive in Vue Cinemas

Primesight recently announced the launch of an exclusive new interactive Cinema Bluetooth service, which is now included as part of our cinema advertising portfolio, in conjunction with sister company Pearl & Dean.

The new service will be based in Vue cinemas and has been developed with interactive partners, Bluepod Media. The service will launch in 25 cinemas nationwide and will eventually roll out to 56 Vue sites later this summer.

The new technology means advertisers will now be able to provide consumers with downloadable content relevant to their particular brand. The service uses cutting edge technology meaning content can be delivered remotely to each destination ensuring a quality service that is quick & efficient. Campaigns can be sold across either Primesight or Pearl & Dean, enabling brands to take full advantage of the service and turn a passive medium into an interactive one.

The service stands out in the Bluetooth market thanks to an even greater range - better than ever before . Any brand advertising on Primesight Bluetooth will be able to cover a whole cinema foyer via only one or two units. Content can range from branded games, ringtones, video clips or music and can be forwarded on to other users free of charge- ideal for viral marketing.

Toyota Aygo Blue has been announced as the launch client, kicking off the new campaign in June 2006. The activity, arranged in conjunction with CHI and Zenith Optimedia will allow cinemagoers to download two music tracks across the month of June by Michael Fakesh: ‘Trach from AYGO by Toyota’, completely free of charge.
