InLinkUK from BT

Primesight have been awarded the street furniture advertising contract, taking over 19,100 payphones and 2,250 6-sheet faces, both across London and key UK cities. And in addition to this portfolio expansion, a joint venture between Primesight and Intersection is launching InLinkUK from BT, in partnership with BT.

The first InLink unit was launched on 27 June 2017. Camden and Southwark were the first two councils to agree to have InLinks serving their boroughs with others to follow soon. One of the greatest benefits to advertisers and the public alike is that the InLink Wi-Fi is over 85 times faster than the average* public Wi-Fi! We're pleased to say that since launch over 11,000 users have signed up for the free Wi-Fi.

'BT is bringing free 1GBps Wi-Fi to London by installing the phone boxes of the future' – Gizmodo

Which is just *11.7 Mbps.

Launching InLinkUK to the media industry on 5th July, media agencies and outdoor specialists have been quick to recognise the potential of combining advertising with the available Wi-Fi speed to enhance multi-screen communication

'InLinkUK is an exciting opportunity to provide a unique way to deliver content for a richer experience with our consumers' Business Director, Kinetic

Advertisers can buy space on InLinks on a 'share of time' basis, delivered through 'PILOT', Primesight's fully flexible buying platform.

InLinks will roll out across key UK cities from early 2018

The joint venture vision is to hand select key locations which can benefit from the placement of InLink units and in doing so re-imagine the way consumers, residents and tourists connect with and communicate in cities across the nation. This represents a huge leap in smart city development and the understanding of the behaviours and patterns of cities.
